Our digital leaders meeting!

This week we had a digital leaders meeting and Mr.K showed us some things the last digital leaders did and told us some things he wanted us to do. He wanted us to do things like: post something on the blog and have a go at some `Scratch` programming. Sooner or later we will be showing other classes how to do scratch  and I can`t wait!>.<

Digital Leaders of 2013!

Hey people the new digital leaders are Me (Jonathan, maple) Lillie (maple) Pav (maple) Lucas (maple) Darnell (Maple) Alex (Maple) and Daisy (chestnut). There are a lot of maple Digital Leaders. There are also some yr5s but I cant remember them. Just like last year they posted some cool vids so hopefully 2013 digital leaders WILL BE BETTER!

Apply to become a Digital Leader!

We are now accepting applications to become one of next year's Digital Leaders!
To be considered, you will need to do two things:
1) Complete and submit an application for HERE;
2) Send Mr Kenyon an example of something you have made using technology - it could be a presentation, a video, a game - anything! Be imaginative!

The people with the best applications will then have an interview with our current Digital Leaders and possibly a technology challenge!

Review on the Google nexus 7!!!

Review on my nexus!

For christmas this year I got a Google nexus 7, and here's a review on it...

The nexus 7 is a great tablet its got all day battery and is great to carry around!

Its got a front camera , (so you can go on Skype,) but unfortunately no back camera. :(

 This tablet has got great storage and you an download films, books etc, etc...

Some of the apps it comes with are

Google chrome, Google play, earth, navigate, gmail, clock, calender, play magazines and much, much more...

 At a low price, I think the nexus 7 is all around great. :)

I give the nexus: 9.5/10!

Digital Leaders present at the ICT Conference!

A huge well done to our amazing Digital Leaders, who were at the Shropshire ICT Conference all day today. They helped out and presented in three of the workshops for teachers (showing off how to use new equipment from Promethean, such as the Activtable).

The main challenge for the DLs was to make a presentation in the main hall to the WHOLE conference! They did fantastically well - we're proud of you!

Hi Everyone! I just thought that I would give out some Apple Apps that I really like!

1) Action Movie (Free) This app creates amazing effects using your camera!

2) iMovie (2.99) Creates fantastic short movies, and movie trailers!

3) iMotion HD (Free) You can create amazing time-lapse videos and also do stop frame animation!

4) My Horse (Free) Raise and look after your very own virtual horse!

5) Minecraft PE (Free or 4.99) This is just a mini verison of Minecraft for your iDevice!

These are just some of my favourite Apps for Apple! I hope you enjoy using them and don't forget to verify with an adult that it is ok to buy some of the paid for apps!
